About Collierville

Just a few miles east of Memphis, the town of Collierville combines sprawling suburbia with old-time Tennessee town square charm. Lining the square is everything from a boot barn to antiques stores, and excellent locally-owned restaurants. Lively concerts take place on summer weekends and holidays in the square's pretty park.
Eat
Being a big suburb of Memphis, there are plenty of chain options for dining in Collierville, but we'd recommend heading toward the town square and indulging in some local flavor. From the Italian bistro Cafe Piazza, located in a 100-year-old house, to the oversized portions at City Hall Cheesecake, to the old-style Silver Caboose, the town square is full of options. Further afield, there's Gus's Fried Chicken and Jim's Place Grille.
Stay
While Collierville is just a 25-minute drive from downtown Memphis via the freeway, there are options for an overnight stay if exploring the area. The Courtyard by Marriott Memphis - Collierville is located on the grounds of the Avenue of Carriage Crossing, meaning there's easy access to national retailers, as well as a quick drive to the town square. The Hampton Inn Collierville is conveniently located on the Poplar corridor.
Shop
Collierville's best shopping is centered around the town square, where you'll find the Brooks Collection and Dunn & Hewlett Boot Barn, two of the star anchors of boutiques and gift stores. On the main drag along Polar Avenue, Sheffield's Antiques Mall is a treasure trove for antiques and collectibles. The Avenue at Carriage Crossing, a few miles south of the main square, offers major national retailers.
