The all-suite hotel is pleasant,comfortable and nicely-priced, with an on-campus location that's close to everything. The Cedar Hotel Airport Memphis is located only a mile away from Graceland, the home of Elvis Presley, and just a few miles form the Memphis International Airport. Backed by a two-story wall of windows and twisted, Chihuly-ish pendants, there's a downtown feel to this almost suburban space. Less than two miles from the Memphis airport, the Comfort Inn & Suites Airport is an excellent option for a business or corporate traveler, as well as leisure travelers, thanks to its close-to-everything location. A short drive takes travelers to Graceland, the nightlife of Midtown Memphis and the Overton Park and Cooper-Young neighborhoods, and downtown's myriad attractions including Beale Street, the National Civil Rights Museum, and the National Ornamental Metal Museum. The Comfort Inn and Suites is pet-friendly, and a good choice for families looking to stay on budget, a complimentary daily breakfast service, fitness room, free parking, and airport shuttle service.
This no-nonsense hotel is adjacent to the airport, and less than two miles from Graceland and offers a convenient location from which to explore the city. Rooms feature a beverage station, mini-fridge and microwave, cable TV, high-speed Internet access; surprisingly, room service is also available - not something you see in most airport-area hotels. There's free daily breakfast service, an outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, business service center, and free on-site parking. A complimentary airport shuttle service is offered. Note that the area in which the hotel is located is primarily industrial / business, so services such as dining and shopping are not readily available.
For the extended-stay guest, the Homestead Studio Suites - Memphis Airport is an excellent choice, with suite-style rooms and a location convenient to the airport and many of the city's most popular attractions. Elvis Presley's Graceland is just three miles from the hotel, and downtown's attractions – including Beale Street – are seven miles away. Because the hotel caters to the extended-stay guest, every room comes with a full kitchen featuring a refrigerator, microwave, and a stovetop, as well as all the utensils needed to make oneself at home. There's on-site laundry and dry cleaning available, and each room includes a workspace.
The Comfort Suites is tucked away on a cove less than five miles from the airport, and is convenient to a variety of Memphis attractions, from downtown's Beale Street and museums to the Memphis Zoo and corporate headquarters of International Paper, FedEx, and AutoZone. Graceland is about seven miles away, just south of the airport. The newly renovated Courtyard by Marriott is not on airport property, but close enough to be called an airport hotel. With its proximity to both the interstate and the airport, it is easy to get to any of the major business centers in town, and serves as a perfect spot if you've got an early flight (there's free shuttle service to and from the airport). A full-service business center handles post and parcel service, overnight pick-up and deliveries, and an array of business services; two meeting rooms with complete audio-visual services and catering options allow for presentations and small banquets.
