Memphis Music & Heritage Festival

The South's rich history and distinct culture are put on display during this family-friendly downtown festival. Musical performances provide the lion's share of entertainment as more than 60 solo and group acts take to multiple stages over two days. Dance and spoken word events also get stage-time. A Festival Parade is full of showy costumes and performances. Arts and crafts and refreshments add to the appeal, but many attendees claim that a major draw is free admission.
