Take a run down golf course, add a huge celebrity who grew up in Memphis and loves to golf, and what do you get? Mirimichi. Local boy Justin Timberlake hails from Millington, and he's proven time and again that he loves his home city. To date, he's named a vodka after the area code (901), he's now bought into the local NBA franchise Grizzlies, and he's converted what was a miserable course into a shining example of the game. Mirimichi has both a 7400-yard championship course and a smaller course, offers live music on the patio on select evenings, and has a built-in spokesperson in Timberlake, who says each hole is unique. His course also subscribes to being very eco-friendly.
