Comic Con producer Wizard World, known for their pop culture conventions that celebrate everything from graphic novels and comic books to gaming, technology and toys, is bringing their unique blend of celebrities, artists and writers to Nashville for the first time this weekend for panel discussions, photo opportunities and plenty of people watching.
Eisner Award Hall of Famer Stan Lee, Norman Reedus of The Walking Dead and The Fonz, Henry Winkler, are among the celebrities scheduled to attend the inaugural Wizard World Nashville Comic Con, Oct. 18-20 at Music City Center. But that’s just the beginning. Fans of the iconic Evil Dead movies will have the opportunity to meet Bruce Campbell one night, and Buffy The Vampire Slayer’s Eliza Dushka another.

Other celebrities on the Nashville Comic Con roster are pop culture icon Billy Dee Williams, Ray Park (Star Wars: Episode 1, X-Men), Dean Cain (Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, Smallville), James Marsters (Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Caprica), Lou Ferrigno (The Incredible Hulk, The King of Queens), Jason David Frank (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), Kevin Sorbo (Hercules, Andromeda), Ernie Hudson (Ghostbusters, Oz), Amy Dumas (former four-time WWE women's champion), Sean Patrick Flanery (Boondock Saints, Dexter) and Sara Underwood (Attack of the Show!, Epic Movie).
The Nashville event is the seventh in the 2013 series produced by Wizard World. In addition to the celebrity sightings and Q&A sessions, those in attendance will get to interact with a number of well-known artists and writers and as well as participate in a variety of activities, exhibitors and special attractions throughout the three-day event. There will also be movie screenings, evening parties and more. And don’t leave your cosplay costume at home - there is a contest.
Reedus, Williams and Winkler are scheduled to be in attendance all three days; Campbell will appear on Friday, Oct. 18th; Lee and Dushku will be on site on Saturday, Oct. 19th. Sunday, Oct. 20th is also Kids Day, with an array of activities and programming specially designed for the younger fans.
Superstar comics creators scheduled to attend include Neal Adams (Batman, Green Lantern), Mr. Garcin (Spider-Man, Captain America), Guy Gilchrist (NANCY, Jim Henson's Muppets), Mico Suayan (The Punisher, Wolverine), Fernando Dagnino (Suicide Squad, Superman), Mike Grell (Green Arrow, Green Lantern), Zombie King Arthur Suydam (Marvel Zombies, Army of Darkness) and Michael Golden (Hulk, Daredevil).
Additionally, all full price attendees will receive a free copy of the Exclusive Variant Cover of The Walking Dead No. 1 comic, available only at Wizard World Nashville Comic Con.
