Nashville has its very own first-rate planetarium at The Adventure Science Museum. In fact, its high-tech projector is the first of its kind in the United States. More than just a convenient way to star-gaze, this planetarium is guaranteed to spirit adults back to their childhood while captivating young ones.

Visitors have a variety of programs to witness, so there's always an occasion to take a trip to the planetarium. From a real look at what goes on in the skies over Nashville to a show called "BIG" that tackles how vast the universe truly, is to their cosmic laser shows every second Saturday of the month, this adventure is the perfect mesh of science and fun.

If you're fascinated by evolution, they also offer a program that allows visitors to join a young Charles Darwin on a voyage aboard the HMS Beagle. The audience is treated to observing the diversity of life around the world, and how species compete and adapt to their evolving environments over time. The story of natural selection has never before been so up-close and engaging.
