Kimber Modern is truly an oasis in the midst of Austin's vibrant hustle and bustle!
At this boutique hotel, they provide a streamlined luxury hotel experienced for the seasoned traveler or for those who really value their privacy. They offer a hands-off approach that is the perfect blend of modern amenities within a beautiful and natural environment.
This is how it works . . .
Before you even arrive at the hotel, you have received an email with your key code that lets you into the hotel, as well as into your room. There's no need to check in or out here, and everything is already covered. There are no hidden fees or add-ons. Everything is included.
The email explains all you need to know and comes with a link to recommendations for some of Austin's hottest restaurants, shops, clubs and art galleries, all curated by Kimber Modern.

The joy of Kimber Modern is in the details and the level of attention to quality over quantity. For example, they have a do-it-yourself soda machine with delicious syrups, such as pomegranate and ginger. The espresso and latte machine makes a better cup of coffee than Starbucks, and the breakfast is simple but thoughtful.
Guests can enjoy perfectly cooked hard-boiled eggs, local breads and bagels, fresh fruit, yogurt and granola. It's the ideal beginning to a memorable day in Austin.
The stunning courtyard is so luxurious and relaxing that, if you're not in a hurry, you might enjoy whiling away your morning with a good book or having a glass of wine at sunset. Invite your friends; they're also welcome to enjoy this special place with you.
After your morning coffee, there's no need to get in the car or call a cab. South Congress is full of eclectic shops, restaurants and food trucks – so many that you could spend your whole day here.

With space at a premium, the rooms at Kimber Modern are small but well designed and surprisingly quiet, considering how close they are to the always busy S. Congress corridor.
If you like to vacation in style, you'll want to reserve the White Suite, which comes with a giant soaking tub (and bath salts), as well as a private patio.
The Red Suite is equally minimal and modern and the next best on the list. The entire hotel maintains this sophisticated, fun aesthetic. The custom maple platform beds comes with Sferra fine linens and perhaps the most comfortable mattress you'll ever sleep on away from home.
Much of the artwork on the walls is original. Among others, Kimber Modern has been known to feature paintings created by Martha Gannon, a phenomenal local artist with a unique flair and a love of bunnies.
During popular events, Kimber Modern fills up fast, so make sure to make your reservations early and get ready for owner Kimber Cavendish's version of a modern-day bed and breakfast.
You're in for a treat!
