Monkey Town 6 Austin

Monkey Town 6 is the temporary Austin version of the legendary New York City video cinema and dining installation. The audience sits inside a massive 27 foot cube, watching a two-hour multi-channel video program, dining on 4 or 5-course menus from Chef Sonya Coté. Every week, Monkey Town also showcases live 15-18 minute performances by local and national artists, during the film screening. There are two seatings per night Tuesday-Sunday, at 6 pm and 8:30 pm. Tickets are $68, which includes the film screening and performances, five course dinner with wine pairing, and all gratuities. On Tuesdays, tickets are only $45 (four course meal). After 10 years in New York, Monkey Town traveled to Denver in the spring of 2014 for a highly-praised 3-month run, and then to Barcelona in the spring of 2015, before arriving in Austin. The Austin Monkey Town will run through February 2016.
