The Texas heat is no joke, but Dallas locals can cool off and have fun at the same time when they visit Six Flags Hurricane Harbor in Arlington. This water park is the largest in the southwest, and it boasts a wide variety of fun rides and attractions for the whole family! In fact, one of the newest attractions there is called the Dive Bomber. This seven-story high drop slide is set up so that the floor drops from below! When you begin your fall, you can reach speeds up to 20 mph, so this ride is for visitors with nerves of steel.

While you're at the park, relax in the slow-moving lazy river or test out your courage on other exciting slides, including the Blue Niagara, Der Stuka, Geronimo, Kamikaze, Surf Rider and the Black Hole. Traveling with younger kids? No problem - Six Flags Hurricane Harbor has several family-friendly attractions fun for visitors of all ages. You can buy one-day passes or save money on season passes. Also, visitors can get discounted prices when they purchase combination tickets to Six Flags Hurricane Harbor and Six Flags Over Texas Amusement Park, which features a wide variety of roller coaster rides and summer concerts.
