DaLat features late-night hours and is open until 3 a.m. from Sunday until Thursday, and until 4 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. DaLat Vietnamese Restaurant specializes in pho, a noodle soup typically served with beef, chicken or pork. Another popular dish there is the Bun Moc (pork meatball soup), made with Vietnamese pork meatballs, green onions, cilantro, vermicelli, limes and black pepper. Diners can also try the Vietnamese Chili, made with pan-seared porkbelly and fish sauce. If you're looking for a non-traditional dish, DaLat also features Italian sandwiches, peppered turkey sandwiches, tuna sandwiches and Spam sandwiches. This restaurant recently opened and guests will enjoy the friendly chef and clean atmosphere.The owner, Khanh Nguyen, is a former attorney who left the corporate world to "find himself" and ended up feeling fulfilled through his cooking. The decor of the restaurant is casual, including a huge dragon mural over the kitchen door.
