The Dallas Mavericks' season runs from October until May, while the Dallas Stars' regular season occurs between October and April. Catch a concert when you're in Dallas, as this jewel in the Lone Star State attracts international headliners, such as Carrie Underwood, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Aerosmith, Andrea Bocelli, and many more. Some of the biggest concerts take place at the American Airlines Center or the Verizon Theatre in nearby Grand Prairie. Smaller events that feature local bands or more underground artists occur at Billy Bob's of Texas in Ft. Worth, Trees club in Deep Ellum, the Curtain Club in Lakewood, or the House of Blues in the downtown area. For an interesting evening, visit the Granada Theater on Greenville Avenue. This historical venue has an intimate feel to it, along with a beautiful ceiling mural, and wait service to seats.
