Want to spice up your date night and channel your inner master chef at the same time? Then head over to The Cookery, a lively culinary outpost in the Dallas Design District offering hands-on cooking classes complete with a post-cooking dinner party and complimentary libations. The three-hour workshops cover everything from Spanish fare (think tapas, paella, flan, Spanish wine) to French cuisine, Indian food, pasta making, and even how to throw the ultimate cocktail party. Those looking for something unique to do for Valentine's Day should check out The Cookery's romantic-themed classes, including one called "That's Amore," where couples learn to make dishes like prosciutto-wrapped artichoke hearts in garlic butter, beef braciola, homemade gnocchi and chocolate almond biscotti. Classes are available several times a week and frequently sell out, so booking in advance is highly advised.
- Romantic Things to Do: "Classes are limited to 14 guests. However, The Cookery can adjust the class size for special events and there is also the option to book a private class."
- Best for Romantic Things to Do Because: The Cookery cooking classes are a unique and tasty option for a date night.
