It's difficult to walk into Art of India's palatial 10,000-square-foot confines and not be dazzled by the jaw-dropping collection of Asian and East African imports. It's no wonder that this is a favorite port of call for Dallas' coterie of architects, designers and art collectors as the showroom is chock-full of exotic goodies ranging from hand-carved marble jali panels and antique temple doors to teakwood arches inlaid with bone. Of course such opulence doesn't come cheap. Items here can run into the thousands, but there are plenty of treasures that can be had for much less. We spotted everything from colorful glass door pulls ($3-$25) and vintage wood printing blocks ($25-$65) to hand-carved marble bowls priced for only $85.
