It's easy to find the towering blue pyramid and other island special attractions offered throughout the year. There are museums, outdoor parks and touring exhibits. Music concerts are booked throughout the year and feature a variety of bands for all ages.

The Mosquito Cafe bistro might have a strange name, but it packs a powerful bite on taste, offering a home style menu that features burgers, sandwiches, upscale menu selections and made-from-scratch pancakes! The restaurant scene in Galveston is pretty versatile, whether you are looking for a romantic dinner inside or prefer enjoying an ocean's breeze on the outdoor patio. The locals are friendly and the food selections are really good!

Tucked away inside the Holiday Inn Resort with an awesome view of the ocean, is a great live music venue called, B. Jiggers Lounge, which has been voted one of Galveston’s favorite spots for great live entertainment.

Who can beat a view of the Texas Gulf while listening to a live band? Even if you don't have a view of the ocean, the breeze is always there wherever your musical heart may roam.
