About Brackenridge Park
Located at the base of the San Antonio River headwaters, Brackenridge Park features over 340 acres of activities and places to visit. This park area actually shows evidence of human habitation as far back as 11,000 years ago so even back then it was a place for people to gather. These days Brackenridge Park is home to the San Antonio Zoo, The Japanese Tea Garden, San Antonio Botanical Gardens, The Brackenridge Eagle (kiddie train), the Witte Museum and America’s oldest children’s amusement theme park, “Kiddie Park.”
If you are looking for a day out with the family or wonderful time with your significant other, come spend the day in Brackenridge Park creating memories.
