The Berkeley Pratunam is an excellent addition to Bangkok's luxury hotel scene, especially given its perfect location.
While Bangkok is known for its gridlock, the Berkeley gives you plenty of options so as to never necessitate getting stuck in traffic. Since the hotel occuipies some prime space in the center of the Pratunam shopping district, you can get here on foot from the BTS Skytrain, not to mention having the public canal boats on the Klong Sam Saeb just a few minutes' stroll away. Additionally, the Makkasan Airport Link central station is right nearby, making arrival and departure that much speedier and easier.
Transportation convenience aside, the Berkeley offers some of Bangkok's best access to shopping, as well, with the bustling Pratunam Market just outside your door, and other shopping meccas like Pantip Plaza and the Platinum Fashion Mall just down the street. Just slightly further afield, Central World and Siam Paragon await, making the Berkeley a true shopaholic's haven.
The Berkeley features 765 rooms spread over two separate towers, all of which offer magnificent city views, walnut marble bathrooms and plenty of in-room amenities like large flat-screen televisions.
The exclusive luxury area, located up on the 33rd and 34th floors, features luxury suites plus plenty of complimentary amenities such as late check out, afternoon tea, garment pressing and high-speed internet. The northern tower features extra large family rooms, with 50 square meters of space and bedding configurations to accommodate several children.

For relaxation, the Berkeley boasts a large outdoor pool complete with a terrace sundeck and lounge chairs, with a separate area for children. The palm-lined deck has views looking out over the city. There is also a Jacuzzi whirlpool, a fitness center and a spa and massage center to cater to all of your needs for unwinding and rejuvenating.
The dining scene in the Berkeley is no slouch, either. On the 10th floor, the opulent Berkeley Dining Room is open all day. It includes eastern and western buffets and has plenty of space for sprawling out, as the palatial restaurant can seat up to 300.
Even more enticing is the restaurant Mulberry, which features an open kitchen concept of four cuisine styles - Thai, Western, Japanese and Chinese. The restaurant also offers three intimate private dining areas for a romantic evening out.
Soon to be completed is The Above, a rooftop bar, with prime views over Pratunam and the surrounding city lights.
For access, shopping and excellent dining, you truly are in the heart of it all at the Berkeley Pratunam.
