This historically fascinating, 19th century pharmacy was renovated and opened anew in 1996. In its early days, one of its employees was Alexander Hamilton – the statesman who went on to write the "Federalist Papers." Today, the small museum showcases documents, artifacts, and exhibits about the building and the role of pharmacies in history. The Danish approach to medicine and healing gets particular focus since a Danish pharmacist originally established the business.
