As expected of a restaurant named for the god of wine, Bacchus has the largest list of vintages of any St. Croix restaurant, and they're divided into true champagnes, sparkling wines, and French, Italian, Spanish, Australian, and American reds and whites. In addition to your server's excellent help, the menu suggests which wines to pair with your food. Meals are hearty bistro-inspired fare. Try an appetizer of roasted beets with gorgonzola or a simple mixed green salad. Main courses range from hand-cut New York strip to a bowl of stewed white beans with sage. Sausage and lentil stew is a particular house favorite.
