The table at London in the Sky accommodates 22 guests, with food prepared and served in front of diners by the chef and team in the center of the table. Guests are securely fastened in before the platform raises 100 feet from the ground and their gourmet experience begins.

Enjoy breakfasts from Anna Hansen’s The Modern Pantry and lunch and dinner services from some of the capital’s best Michelin-starred chefs and restaurants, including Atul Kochhar from Benares Restaurant; Pascal Aussignac from Club Gasgon; Tony Fleming from Angler; Xavier Boyer from L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon; and Alyn Williams from Alyn Williams at The Westbury.
Each of these restaurants will serve guests a Champagne Taittinger reception, followed by a selection of signature dishes (three courses at lunch, five at dinner) paired with hand-chosen Villa Maria wines for two consecutive days during the ten-day festival. Guests will be able to dine in the sky for breakfast, lunch and dinner with Champagne Taittinger or take canapé flights in the afternoon and evening for a dramatic night-time city backdrop.
Thankfully, the trademarked sky table is covered with a roof awning sheltering diners from rain and wind when up in the air.
Events in the Sky are part of the global Dinner in the Sky group that operates in over 40 different countries. Chefs involved to date include Joel Robuchon, Alain Passard and recently Heston Blumenthal, as part of his Heston’s Great British Food show.
London in the Sky will take place at Canary Wharf from Sept. 12 to Sept. 21, 2014. Tickets are available for £50 for breakfast, £200 for lunch and £250 for dinner. Brunches will be served every day throughout the festival from Anna Hansen’s The Modern Pantry.
