Since The Gateway opened in the early 2000's, it has been known to Salt Lake City residents and visitors as one of the single best shopping locations in the valley. With more than 105 stores and a huge variety of merchandise, this outdoor, two-story mall has an extremely attractive layout and upscale atmosphere. Located on the western edge of downtown Salt Lake City and centered around the historic Union Pacific Depot, The Gateway has winding pedestrian lanes, fountains, trees and modern architecture.
In addition to its fantastic ambiance, this shopping center has forever boasted a great roster of shops. From the Apple Store to Urban Outfitters, you've always been able to find what you're looking for there – whether it's a computer, new pair of jeans, a designer couch, or children's clothing. Recently, though, The Gateway has added a handful of new stores: Epic Board Shop, Bettie Page, G-Star Raw, and Francesca's Collections.
Epic Board Shop brings to The Gateway a trendy selection of skate- and snowboard equipment and attire. Bettie Page brings chic vintage to Salt Lake City, offering 1950's-style women's and children's clothing. G-Star Raw brings dutch fashion from the Netherlands to The Gateway, with high-quality, designer clothing. Francesca's brings stylish clothing and accessories to the women of Salt Lake City.
