Downtown Salt Lake City is home to many large hotels. Ranging from budget to luxury, these accommodations occupy a large portion of the city’s center. Yet of these dozens of hotels, only a few seem to claim all the awards, year after year. Not surprisingly, the most successful of these is also the finest–the Grand America. Adding to its already enormous collection of accolades, Grand America was included in Travel & Leisure’s “Top 500 Best Hotels in the World” list.

With 775 rooms and 24 floors – as well as an enormous amount of meeting space and restaurants – Grand America truly boggles the mind with its immaculate attention to detail and gorgeous style. Created in the essence of Europe’s fine boutique hotels, each of Grand America’s opulent rooms has been appointed with Italian marble bathrooms, original artwork, English wool carpets and hand-worked Richelieu furniture. Yet, however great the décor, the service can only be described as better. However, this list of attributes does little to describe the utter plushness of this building and its staff.
If traveling Salt Lake City, be sure to book a room at Grand America well ahead of your visit.
Those wishing to partake of the service and style of Grand America - but perhaps lacking the funds to go all-in - should consider instead booking a room at its sister hotel, Little America. Located just to the west of Grand America, this much more affordable hotel offers a good deal of Grand America’s class without going over the top.
