About Foothill

The Foothill district of Salt Lake City is largely a residential one. Filled with expensive homes and winding lanes, this is one of the valley's ritzier neighborhoods. Because of this, the few amenities that Foothill has tend to be high-quality. Whether you're looking for shopping or dining, you'll find that Footill has a great – though small – selection of locally owned establishments offering top notch goods.
Eat
In Foothill you won't find the same density of restaurants as in Sugarhouse or Downtown Salt Lake City. However, the smattering of eateries found throughout this neighborhood are high-quality and varied. Check out the Red Butte Cafe for breakfast or lunch, Bombay House for killer Indian food, or Fresco for some of the city's best and most romantic Italian dining.
Party
Foothill is one of Salt Lake City's most densely residential neighborhoods. Therefore you're not going to find much of a bar scene here. However, if you're looking for a fun night out with friends, consider grabbing a dinner and a game of darts or shuffleboard at MacCool's Public House. This local, Foothill Village establishment offers some of Salt Lake City's most delicious comfort food and draught Guiness.
Shop
Whether you need groceries, your morning coffee, sporting goods, children's toys, jewelry, or even fitness equipment, when you're in the Foothill neighborhood, you have only to swing by Foothill Village. Located right on Foothill Boulevard, this convenient shopping center offers a variety of top-notch shops with equally high-quality goods.
