"British high fashion means Pacific Northwest cool" at essensuals London, recently opened in Capitol Hill, part of the internationally-acclaimed TONI&GUY London brand (known for standing at the forefront of British hair fashions and beyond). As the third essensuals London salon in the U.S.–and the first on the West Coast–this sleek, inviting space (with a 16-chair floor) now brings high-end style to one of Seattle's artsiest neighborhoods. Opened and operated by charismatic identical twin brothers Jason and Robert Townsend, essensuals exposes pampered patrons to the expertise of these friendly talents who most recently ran salons in Beverly Hills and Newport Beach (their impressive client list includes a bevy of A-listers.) The brothers, who've spent a lifetime in the industry (their mother was a high-fashion hairdresser and salon owner), decided to open up shop here after falling in love with Seattle. TONI&GUY London creates the hair for over 80 designer catwalk shows each year, working with top designers including Giles Deacon, Todd Lynn, Jean-Pierre Braganza, Pam Hogg and Tata Naka. The Pacific Northwest team of professional stylists and colourist now proudly offer "a slice of London catwalk style in Seattle."
