Locals and visitors have long flocked to RN74, Michael Mina's bustling downtown outpost. Now seasoned Mina Group Chef Thomas Griese has taken the helm, reinvigorating delicious French offerings at Mina's Northwest flagship venue. Griese, who has cooked in Mina restaurants in Miami, San Francisco and Chicago, brings years of expertise, a wildly impressive resume and an abundance of enthusiasm. Recent menu additions include hors d'oeuvres such as Truffle Baguette (with warm camembert), Pike's Heirloom Tomato Salad and Escargot A La Bordelaise; main courses of Neah Bay Black Cod Ail Noir, Alaskan Halibut Bouillabaisse and Duck Confit Cassoulet; and sides such as Mushroom & Fennel Fricassee. Also, patrons return for RN74's extensive wine list that highlights France's Burgundy region plus local boutique wine producers. In addition to pouring at least 40 wines by the glass and 1,300-plus by the bottle, RN74 features Champagne and sparkling wine from around the world.
