Los Cabos has long been a premier destination for romantic vacation getaways, offering beachfront accommodations, warm tropical weather and spectacular natural settings for weddings, honeymoons, renewal of vows ceremonies or weekend trips for two. Many area hotels cater to couples, and a few, like the gorgeous Pacific-side resort Pueblo Bonito Pacifica, don't allow guests under 18 years of age.

Spas are a specialty of local resorts, and the Cabo Spa at Esperanza features a full menu of sensual couples treatments and massages under the stars. Relaxing pursuits aren't limited to the resorts, however. Romantic activities abound, from horseback rides along secluded beaches to tandem kayak trips to Lover's Beach. Private yacht charters are also readily available and often include whale watching opportunities, as well as excellent snorkeling in pristine sites such as Santa Maria Bay.

Most beachfront hotels in Los Cabos offer moonlit "table in the sand" options, but for truly spectacular Land's End views, try Sunset da Mona Lisa, one of the most popular spots for romantic dinners. The restaurant offers generous servings of fresh local seafood, wine pairings from the onsite sommelier, and incredible views of the sun descending into the sea beyond the unique rock formations at the tip of the Baja peninsula.
