  • Mesa Verde near Durango and Four Corners of CO, AZ, NM and UT

    Four Corners and Mesa Verde

Bend over . . . and plant each hand and foot in one of four different states.  Fun, yes, but the real magic of the Four Corners area is Mesa Verde, an ancient Indian Ruins built into the side of a stone cliff in Colorado (not far from Durango).  You won't believe your eyes.

  • Fishing is unparalleled in the Florida Keys and Marathon

Marathon in the Florida Keys: Fish On !

Marathon is where serious anglers head:  the Keys' clear water and giant game fish are too appealing to pass on.  While you're in Marathon, you can also pop in to Keys Fisheries, for its famous lobster reuben.   Hope you hook the big one!

  • Tanque Verde Ranch in Tucson

Take the Family to a Tucson Dude Ranch

As spring brings "desert bloom" to Tucson, it's a great time to treat the family to some dude ranch time at Tanque Verde Inn.  Tucson is also a culturally rich place to visit, with Mexican and Spanish influences in food, architecture and festivals.   And of course, cowboys figure in to the picture, too.

History comes alive in beautiful Williamsburg, Virginia, and there may be no prettier time to visit than spring.   Horse-drawn carriage rides are a great way to see this amazing re-creation of colonial America.  Docents and guides are all top-notch; it's a memorable learning experience.
