Fun in Winchester, Virginia
Around 300,000 will attend the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival in Winchester, Virginia the end of this month (starting April 27 and lasting 10 days). A carnival, circus, concerts, pro-am golf tournament, dancing, fireworks and music are just some of the things you'll find at this popular community event, now in its 84th year. Wave to Debbie Reynolds, the Grand Marshall of this year's parade and see the crowning of Miss Shenendoah. Just 75 miles west of Washington, D.C., this rural town will charm you with its homespun fun.
