We're officially more than halfway into July and the mercury seems to keep on rising. That means it's time for most of us to get the heck out of town to somewhere we can cool off before we melt.
AAA released a list of the top summer travel destinations in the U.S., and not surprisingly, nearly all of the top 10 spots offer visitors relief from the sweltering heat – in one way or another.
For top-ranked Orlando, that might mean taking a dip in one of the many lakes in the area or making the trip to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon water park, while the cool climates of Seattle and Anchorage offer a respite from the crippling humidity.
The beaches of Hawaii and Los Angeles provide plenty of spots to cool off in the Pacific or sip an ocean-side frozen tropical drink – preferably one with a cocktail umbrella. Watch the video above to see the entire Top 10.
