The aptly named Tropical Island Paradise, one of the latest concept designs from Yacht Island Design, threatens to put all other cruise ships to shame. While the ship is still in the concept phase, the 295-foot yacht-cum-tropical island would accommodate up to ten guests and reach speeds of up to 15 knots. The main deck, resembling a secluded beach cove, comes complete with its own volcano feeding clear water into the pool surrounded by palm trees and beach cabanas.

The lucky future owners of this little piece of paradise, which is without a price tag as of yet, would enjoy a two-deck owners suite equipped with a private spa within the volcano, and four additional VIP suites would have balconies and direct access to the deck cabanas and pool. If that weren't enough, the vessel's interior is packed with more goodies, such as a spa, movie theater, library and gym. When the ship is anchored, a beach deck folds out from the back giving easy access to swimming and water sports. Need quick access to your yacht while it's at sea? No problem. There's a helipad on the bow.

If tropical islands don't do it for you, the British company has a few other interesting concepts in the works, including Streets of Monaco, a yacht complete with renditions of Monaco's landmarks and a functional go-kart track where guests can recreate the grand prix experience. For the imaginative traveler, Yacht Island Design will even design and build a customized ship if you're willing to write a very hefty check.
