Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas has been a gold standard of the cruise industry since its launch in 2009. Aside form its dizzying size and plush quarters, one of the primary draws of this vessel is its appeal to families with kids of all ages.

The Oasis of the Seas has nearly boundless offering of activities and facilities for young kids and teens. For starters, have a look at Kid's Avenue, which connects young passengers with a whole host of ocean-themed activities. There's also a nursery for infants and toddlers in this location. The Teen Zone features activities more in line with a developing audience, including sports simulators and Scratch DJ 101 classes (where kids learn to spin from expert disc jockeys.)

All in all, a cruise is a spectacular option for a family vacation, and the Oasis of the Seas is the pinnacle of the family cruise experience.
