In honor of the seventh and final season of Parks and Recreation coming to a close, we've gathered a list of 10 breakfast dishes found in restaurants around the country that we think would make Ron Swanson and Leslie Knope proud.
Celebrate our favorite breakfast champions (and dry your tears) by chowing down on dishes with eggs, bacon and of course, waffles. After all, Ron once said, "There has never been a sadness that can't be cured by breakfast food."

Breakfast of choice: German Pancakes
"When I eat, it is the food that is scared" is exactly the type of mentality the folks at BBB want you to have. In addition to their delicious German pancakes, they offer an omelet that you can customize with anything you find on the menu. Anything at all.

Breakfast of choice: Wings and Waffles
You’ll never have to decide between chicken wings or waffles at this Houston breakfast spot. Their signature dish is a golden brown Belgian waffle topped with powdered sugar and surrounded by 6 chicken wings.

Breakfast of choice: The Sampler
Like JJ's Diner, Bryant's is a staple in this town. The Sampler is enough food to satisfy even Swanson-like hunger: three eggs, three homemade biscuits, grits, gravy, sausage, bacon, ham and pork tenderloin. Oh, and a potato pattie.

Breakfast of choice: King Cakes
Two pancakes stuffed with bananas and chocolate chips and peanut butter in the middle – all topped with whipped cream and a bacon halo.

Breakfast of choice: any doughnut
Seriously, any of GBD's homemade doughnuts will hit the spot, day or night. We’d like to think the Maple Bacon Bourbon would be Ron’s favorite.

Breakfast of choice: Hawkeye Hog Omelet
Eggs, sausage, hash brown and American cheese all smothered in gravy. Need we say more?

Breakfast of choice: Big Nasty Biscuit
These fluffy, homemade biscuits are perfect on their own, but the Nasty Biscuit is a monstrous Southern treat of fried chicken breast, cheddar cheese and sausage gravy.

Breakfast of choice: The Chop & Chick
Served all day, like the rest of their breakfast menu, the Chop & Chick is two eggs and a skillet-seared Iowa pork rib chop. Meat and eggs, baby. Meat and eggs.

Breakfast of choice: The Scrambler
"Give me all the bacon and eggs you have” is pretty much what you’re getting at this Madison local hot spot. Eggs topped with mounds of cheese, meat, potatoes and gravy.

Breakfast of choice: Shirley's Affair with Oscar
This breakfast doozy combines Ron Swanson’s two favorite things: steak and breakfast food. Shirley’s Affair with Oscar is a 5 oz. beef tenderloin center cut filet, topped with asparagus, jumbo lump crab meat & hollandaise sauce, on fried green tomatoes & stone ground grits with diced bacon and dusted with Old Bay.
