Paying homage to the restaurant's lovely garden theme, Jardin's whimsical dessert tastes as good as it looks.
The edible chocolate flower pot is layered with moist chocolate cake, chocolate mousse and raspberry jam, and is topped with crumbled Oreo "dirt" and fresh, edible flowers. It's meant to serve 2-3 but, hey, no judgment here.

You can't visit Las Vegas without picking up a couple (dozen) of the holey creations from Donut Bar.
Although the menu changes daily, favorites include the French Toast Donut (just what it sounds like, served with butter, jelly and maple syrup), Homer's Donut (huge and topped with pink cake batter glaze and sprinkles), Butter Beer (complete with Harry Potter glasses), PB&J oh, wait, they're all favorites.

This cafe overlooking the Bellagio's gorgeous Conservatory is so inviting, you'll want to spend the day there and you can because they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Sadelle's is all about elevated comfort food, and the pastry cart alone will elevate your mood, never mind your sugar level. Make sure you order the sticky buns which are to sticky buns what the Mona Lisa is to paintings. Made fresh in-house every morning from brioche dough laminated with butter, they're rolled in cinnamon and baked in caramel, then finished with Maldon salt. You won't find a better way to start or end a day.

The newest addition to the famed Afternoon Tea menu at Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas, caneles are small, French pastries flavored with rum and vanilla, with a soft and tender custard center and a dark, thick caramelized crust.
Caneles are a specialty of Bordeaux, France, where Executive Pastry Chef Tony Gauthier studied and perfected their baking method. In fact, he's one of the only pastry chefs on the Strip to make these desserts in-house using the original French method and copper molds. The process is time-consuming, as the batter has to mature for 24 to 48 hours before baking, but the delicious results are so worth it, you'll want to thank him for his efforts.

This beautiful dessert is not only a work of art; it's also full of surprises literally.
The Spiked Lemon is cracked open at the table (after you've admired it and taken your photos) to reveal chiffon cake, Japanese yuzu cream and citrus mousse topped with meringue, edible gold and basil. The flavors just burst in your mouth, with a delightful mix of sweet and tangy, and rivals the outside view of the Bellagio fountains for your attention.

A favorite of both locals and visitors, Freed's Bakery has been sweetening up the city for 60 years, creating elaborate cakes, cookies and pastries.
The family-owned business is continually voted "Best Bakery" in Las Vegas and its jaw-dropping designs have been showcased on Food Network's Vegas Cakes. If you can't rationalize ordering a custom cake (you can), opt for a slice of their signature strawberry shortcake. One bite and you'll understand why they're considered a Las Vegas tradition.
