10Best Pool Pick: La Mamounia in Marrakech

We love these Marrakech beauties inside and out

Staying at Hotel La Mamounia in Marrakech will make you feel like you're lost in some mystical fairytale. It took the work and vision of hundreds of artists and craftsman to restore the courtyards, fountains, intricate terracotta mosaics and stone terraces to their original glory, and the result is nothing short of magical.Outdoor pool — Photo courtesy of Hotel La Mamounia

We could go on forever about the many features of this stunning five-star property hidden within the walls of the Old City, but we'll stick to the best feature, its pools. Start with the 7,500 square foot outdoor pool, nestled within the 17-acre Hotel La Mamounia gardens. Surrounded by palm trees, the sunbeds and more private couples pods make for the ultimate afternoon of relaxation in the desert sun after a morning in the bustling souks. The indoor pool is equally beautiful, surrounded by mosaic-covered columns and subtly lit by beautifully hammered Moroccan lanterns. It doesn't get much more romantic. Unless of course you're one of the lucky guests staying in one of three private riads outfitted with its own private terrace and plunge pool. Jacuzzi — Photo courtesy of Hotel La Mamounia

Perhaps you'd prefer to relax in one of the La Mamounia Spa's three traditional Hammams, or let the warm waters of the luxurious indoor Jacuzzi soak your worries away. No matter what experience you choose, it's sure to be magical and memorable.
