  • Tower power

No, this isn’t Vegas. It’s the lobby of the Pechanga Resort Casino. The recent expansion created a new hotel tower with 568 luxuriously appointed guest rooms (bringing the room total in both towers to more than 1,000), outstanding restaurants and a large selection of designer shopping options.

  • Pool perfection

Pechanga’s pool complex, The Cove, offers not just one, but four pools (in addition to 5 spas!) on a beautiful landscaped expanse with views of the canyon landscape. The complex features a family lagoon with two water slides, beach-entry pool and a kids’ splash pad. The main pool serves up drinks at a swim-up bar. Private cabanas are available throughout the complex to make your stay at this pool paradise even more special.

  • Dramatic tee-off

Golfers tee off at the signature hole #6 to a fairway located more than a 175-foot drop down the mountain.  The Journey at Pechanga golf course is definitely one of the most challenging and beautiful courses in Southern California, as it is built into the native canyons and ravines of the south end of the Temecula Valley.

  • Native American culture

You’ll see many artifacts artfully displayed throughout the resort that reflect the culture of the Pechanga Band of Luiseño Indians who have called the Temecula Valley home for more than 10,000 years. Take a moment to admire the beauty of their handiwork, and to learn the history of their struggle to preserve their culture despite great adversity over the centuries. Cultural artifacts from the native Pechanga people can also be found along the way to several of the golf course holes.

  • Award-winning sushi

Sushi doesn't get much better than this, and 10Best readers agree. Umi Sushi & Oyster Bar at the Pechanga Casino was rated the second-best casino restaurant in the country in the 2018 10Best Readers' Choice Awards. Executive chef Kiyokuni Ikeda proudly displays a tray of a few of his culinary creations.

  • Shopping mecca

Whatever you're looking for to buy, chances are you can find it in the array of shops that line the halls of the casino resort.  Five high-end retail stores carry the largest selection of designer merchandise in the Temecula Valley – and you can often snag a deal on luxury items. You'll also want to explore the historical nearby town of Temecula for more shopping options, especially antiques and one-of-a-kind vintage items.

  • Play your perfect combination

It may come as a surprise to learn that Pechanga Casino’s gaming floor, at 200,000 square feet, is larger than any floors at a Las Vegas resort. Try your luck at one of the 5,000 slot machines and 130 gaming tables, and enjoy the plush poker room and the popular 700-seat bingo facility. Private and high-limit gaming opportunities are also available.

  • An extraordinary spa experience

There is a 1,000-year-old Great Oak still alive and thriving on the grounds of Pechanga. It's the inspiration for the Great Oak Purification Ritual, an extraordinary spa treatment well beyond the ordinary. An invigorating dry brush exfoliation is followed by a warm sage and lavender-infused clay wrap. After the clay is removed, a full-body massage using Himalayan salt stones soaked in warm white sage oil provides the ultimate in relaxation and sense of well-being. The minerals are also beneficial in reducing inflammation and creating balance.

  • Vine time

Enjoy a stroll through the beautiful vineyards of the Temecula Valley, a short drive from the resort. You can take a leisurely walk through the vines, or opt to ride a horse through the vineyards for a more unique experience. For those who love to see things from above, consider a hot air balloon ride with a bird’s-eye view of the lush valley below.

  • Bring the kids

From toddlers to teens, kids of all ages will enjoy the family lagoon with two spiraling water slides and splash pad. The Southern California mild climate allows for swimming most of the year and for sunbathing all year round.

  • Nature's playground

The picturesque vineyards of the Renzoni Winery provide a perfect backdrop for a game of bocce ball on the winery terrace. Mom and dad can sip a delicious vintage from the estate while keeping an eye on their playful kids.

  • Entertainment every night

Live entertainment is just steps away from your hotel room. You’ll find A-list performers in the 1,200-seat Pechanga Theatre venue as well as the rooftop Eagle's Nest Nightclub & Lounge with nightly live music and dancing. Not to mention, their Pechanga Summit is a 40,000-square-foot indoor facility featuring concerts, live action sports trade shows and more.

  • Great menu at Great Oak

The cuisine at Pechanga’s Great Oak Steakhouse definitely appeals to steak and seafood lovers. While every item on the menu is beautifully prepared and presented, if available, try the 32-oz. tomahawk steak served with an 8-oz. Tristan lobster. This rare lobster is only found on a remote island off the coast of South Africa, and is known as the sweetest lobster in the world. Its texture and flavor are unparalleled.
