  • The Color Run Atlanta

    April 6
    April brings the popular The Color Run 5k to the streets of Atlanta, where racers of all ages and abilities don white t-shirts and become "works of art" by the finish line as they're plastered in colorful powders. The Color Run, billed as "the Happiest Race on the Planet" benefits Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

  • Marathon de Paris

    April 7
    What better way to experience the charms of Paris than by running a 26-mile course through its streets. Starting on the Champs-Elysees, you'll pass iconic sights like the Eiffel Tower, Cathedral of Notre Dame and the Place de la Bastille along the way.

    Starting at the Kane Creek Trail Head, the Amasa Trail Run takes participants on a 6.7-, 9.5- or 14.5-mile loop through the breathtaking scenery near Moab, UT. This off-road race includes technical climbs and uneven terrain, so it's not for the faint of heart.

    One of the country's most challenging road marathons has the stunning Blue Ridge Parkway as its setting, so even when you're huffing and puffing toward the finish line, you'll have mother nature to inspire you. There will also be a half marathon, walking half marathon, five person team relay marathon and YMCA kids marathon, all benefiting Friends of Blue Ridge Parkway.

  • Run for Your Lives in Miami

    April 27
    You'll be happy to have the beaches of Miami to relax on after you finish this race. Instead of your usual 5k, Run for Your Life takes you through a 5-kilometer obstacle course overrun by zombies. You start the race with a number of health flags (like flag football flags) that you must protect from the walking dead in order to survive.

    April 28
    Considered to be one of the most scenic marathons in the United States, the Big Sur International Marathon rounds out the April race schedule with a course along the coast of California. Though the full marathon sold out last July, you can still experience the beautiful coastline in a marathon relay, 21-miler, 9-miler or 5K.
