    Tempe, home of Arizona State University, has all the trappings of a college town – a hopping nightlife, interesting shopping and several outdoor cafes perfect for a pre-game meal. After watching the Los Angeles Angels play at Tempe Diablo Stadium, head to the pedestrian-friendly Mill Avenue downtown district for dinner and a movie or stage production.

    A spring vacation to Lake Buena Vista combines two awesome elements: Walt Disney World and baseball. The Atlanta Braves make their early spring home at Champion Stadium located within the Disney-operated ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. When you're not watching a ball game, you'll have the Disney parks, excellent golf courses and a host of restaurants to keep you busy.

    Scottsdale, Arizona

    Sunny Scottsdale hosts three Major League teams each year, the San Francisco Giants at Scottsdale Stadium, and the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks at the Salt River Fields. Scottsdale is also home to some of the state's best golf courses, shopping and resort spas in the heart of the Sonoran Desert.

    You'll be swapping snow for sand when you come watch the Boston Red Sox and Minnesota Twins play at JetBlue Park and Hammond Stadium in beautiful Fort Myers. As one of the largest suburbs of the Phoenix area, there's plenty to do before the first pitch and after the final at-bat. Westgate City Center is the place to be for dining and nightlife, while historic downtown is known for its excellent antique shopping.

If that's not enough, you'll have all the offerings of nearby St. Petersburg as well.

    If there's one sport Phoenix knows better than golf, it's baseball. So between tee times, catch some of the spring training action as the Milwaukee Brewers play at Maryvale Baseball Park and the Oakland Athletics play at Phoenix Municipal Stadium. After the games, you'll have the plethora cultural and artistic offerings of Phoenix at your disposal.
