The airline is the leading carrier between Europe and Latin America, and its goal is to improve the quality of cuisine for its business class passengers. The menus, which have been in place since June 2012, are based on the Mediterranean diet and designed to turn Iberia's planes into the "only eight star restaurant in the world." The menus aim to reflect the culinary fusion between the various regions in Spain. A few examples include roasted lamb shoulder with red wine and cinnamon juice, sauteed peaches with parsley and salt cod with green sauce.

Each of the chefs bring their own specific expertise to the table. Dani Garcia, for example, is the genius behind Calima restaurant in Marbella and is regarded as the leading authority on modern Andalusian cuisine. Together with his other Michelin Star partners, Iberia's new menu is nothing less than first class.
