Since 2007, The Dog of Nashville has been serving up patrons some of the tastiest hotdogs this side of the Mason Dixon line. With its mouth-watering selections, like the Y’all dog, Fiery Redneck, and the Diet Starts Tomorrow dog, this specialty eatery has won numerous awards from the Nashville Scene. These hotdogs aren’t just food, they’re edible works of art. Near Hillsboro Village, this casual and laid-back establishment, it’s the perfect place to grab a bite, enjoy a beer, and fill your belly happy.
Jack's Cosmic Dogs, in its original location just a short drive from Charleston's downtown, is a classic old fashioned hot dog joint with an other world twist. Jack's dogs are served up with inventive relish, mustard, and slaw toppings, hand cut french fries, and mugs of root beer on draft, and have even been featured in Food Network's show "The Best Thing I Ever Ate." Try the staple Cosmic Dog with blue cheese slaw and sweet potato mustard, or the Krypto Krout dog with sauerkraut and spicy mustard for a taste of the Charleston cosmos. In recent years, founder Jack Hurley has opened two more area locations, in West Ashley and on James Island.
If you have a hankering for a hot dog, while in Cancun, Johnny Rockets is definitely the place to go. The popular US chain restaurant is known for their outstanding burgers and malts, but they also serve up some tasty hot dogs. You can get their delicious, all-beef hot dogs plain, with mustard, ketchup, and relish, or you can jazz them up a bit by adding chili, cheddar cheese, and grated onions. If you really want to go wild, you can also add bacon to your hot dog. Cancun has three Johnny Rockets restaurants, but the one in La Isla Shopping Village, in the hotel zone, is the one that most tourists visit. There is indoor and outdoor dining available at the La Isla Shopping Village location. The other two Johnny Rockets locations are in downtown Cancun, at Plaza Las Americas mall, and at the Cancun airport, in Terminal 2.
Featured by Guy Fieri on Food Network's hugely popular "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives", Fab Hot Dogs in Reseda excels at churning out fresh, tasty hot dogs every day of the week. Trek out to the San Fernando Valley "Dog Hot Spot" to sample "The Ripper", a beef and pork dog flown in from New Jersey and deep fried. Feel free to build-your-own hot dog or try a favorite specialty dog like the "L.A. Street Dog", a bacon-wrapped beef dog with peppers, onions, jalapenos and the perfect balance of sauces. Highly recommended is the "Bald Eagle Ripper", topped with Chef Joe Fabrocini's housemade spicy, mustard relish.
