Don't just eat leftovers this Thanksgiving, turn them into a delicious new dish like a juicy turkey burger. Find inspiration for your own turkey treat from the restaurants below that are home to some of the best turkey burgers in the United States.

Turkey Cobb

Slater's 50/50, San Diego

Skip the leafy version of your favorite salad and go straight for the burger. The Turkey Cobb found at Slater's 50/50 in San Diego includes a ground turkey patty, bacon, blue cheese, avocado mash, iceberg lettuce, tomato, deviled egg salad and sage and garlic aioli on a brioche bun.

SoCal

Bareburger, New York

The popular chain Bareburger has several locations throughout New York and is in the process of opening new stores in places like Washington, California and Canada. If you decide not to make your own burger masterpiece from their extensive lists of ingredients, order the SoCal that comes with a tender turkey patty, aged cheddar, pickled red onions, alfalfa, guacamole and sprout bean.

The Happy Pilgrim

Twisted Root Burger Co., Dallas

At this Dallas-based regional chain, burger fans can order any of their specialty burgers (that can vary store to store) with either a beef, turkey or vegan patty. Try the Twisted Root's Happy Pilgrim that includes all-white turkey meat from a family farms co-op, goat cheese and kale pesto topped with greens.  If you're craving something less healthy on the side, you can build your own cheddar fries with toppings like guacamole, bacon ranch and jalapenos.

Blue 'Shroom

The Vortex, Atlanta

The Vortex in Atlanta is well-known for their heart-clogging monster creations appropriately named the Coronary Bypass Burgers. If you decide to pass on these grilled cheese bun burgers (seriously), you can chow down on any of their classic Vortex burgers or signature burgers with a turkey patty instead of beef sirloin. We recommend using a turkey patty on the Blue 'Shroom which includes blue-cheese spread, sauteed mushrooms and bacon.

Turkey-Bacon-Guac

Park Burger, Denver

Park Burger has four locations in Denver and serves up classic burgers that you can customize with ingredients like fried eggs or pancetta. Or you can enjoy one of their signature creations. For a delightful turkey taste, try the Turkey-Bacon-Guac. As the name suggests, the Turkey-Bacon-Guac is a burger made with 1/3 lb turkey patty, bacon, guacamole and ranch. Simple ingredients for a simply amazing taste.

Turkey

8oz Burger & Co., Seattle

This Seattle chain takes its burgers seriously and gives guests the chance to make their own customized burger on beef, turkey, veggie, chicken or even wild boar patties – or chow down on one of their housemade creations. Their special turkey burger is made of Diestel Family Ranch turkey, watercress, tomato, onion, pickle, avocado and pomegranate ketchup.

Gobble Gooble

BRGR, Pittsburgh

In Pittsburgh, repeat Thanksgiving any day of the week with a tasty helping of BRGR's Gobble Gobble burger. This mouthwatering creation combines everything you love about a Thanksgiving meal in one juicy turkey burger including sage stuffing, pickled green beans, turkey gravy and cranberry aioli.

Turkey

Red Cow, Minneapolis

The Red Cow, located in Minneapolis and St. Paul, prides itself on its use of farm-fresh ingredients and one-of-a-kind toppings to create amazing flavors. The restaurant's award-winning turkey burger includes cilantro-lime aioli, sliced radish, arugula and crushed pistachios.

French and Fries

Roam Artisan Burgers, San Francisco

Roam in San Francisco allows guests to customize their burgers with an array of artisan ingredients ranging from aged white cheddar to all-natural elk burgers. The French & Fries burger asks the question, "Why would you add fries to the side when you could put them on top of your burger?"

This house creation can come on top of your choice of protein including a Diestel Family free-range turkey patty, truffle parmesan fries, gruyere, avocado, caramelized onions, watercress, and Dijon mustard.

Create Your Own

Butcher & the Burger, Chicago

Butcher and the Burger isn't just any hole-in-the-wall Chicago burger shop. Building your own burger here is a foodie's fantasy come true with a massive selection of unique and high-end ingredients. Turkey lovers can build their dream dish on top of a naturally-raised turkey patty, choosing a spice like Cameron Parish Cajun Blend, Curry-Coconut Honey or simple salt and pepper.

After creating your ideal turkey patty, you can top your burger with the classics like ketchup and mustard or something different like Amish duck egg, black truffle aioli or sauteed foie gras.
