After growing up in the heart of scenic northern New Jersey, Jason studied creative writing and photography at the New School for Social Research in Manhattan. Wanting to get get away from New York, he moved to Missoula, Montana where he continued his studies and worked with disabled adults. Since then he has lived in Texas and New Mexico, but has called Portland home for the past 15 years.
Currently working as a full-time freelance photographer and writer, Jason spends his time looking for great stories. When not working, Jason explores Portland and the Northwest with his wife and seven-year-old daughter. He lives in the historic North Portland neighborhood of St. Johns.
