The United States is home to more than 1,500 casinos – more than any other country on the planet. From coast to coast, gamblers have a huge range of options for where to place their bets.

So, a panel of experts partnered with 10Best editors to select nominees for the best casinos outside of Las Vegas. Here are the top 10 winners, which were determined by popular vote.

No. 10: Mohegan Sun - Uncasville, Connecticut

No. 9: Pechanga Resort Casino - Temecula, California

No. 8: Harrah's Resort Atlantic City - New Jersey
